Yo, what is up dude and dudettes? I like told you this cosmic wave would bring me back once again to talk to you, the most knowledge seeking humans out there. Today we are going to go over something extremely important that I see that can be overlooked by humans. Not throwing shade bruh. I am merely just putting out there that we cats too get stress. But like how? And like what are the signs of stress? Well, fret no more bro. I am here to reveal this secret to help my fellow feline blokes and shelias. Now some of you might look at me and think, well Thomas, you don’t look stressed and I would say that is Correcto Mundo bruh. I don’t stress. Life is too short for that. I believe in one love, and positivity. But I have lived in the great outdoors where cats will like fight you for just like standing there bro, and I tell you, I have never seen such negative energy. I love being an indoor house cat, even my papa calls me like the most gracious indoor cat. But this term got me wondering why the other cats are not called that, so as like an outsider, I take a step back and see the whole picture and study the like energy of other cats and this is how I have come to discover the signs of cat stress. So let us get down to it. But before we get to the list below, here are examples of what can cause this stress like bruh…
• Remodeling or other noisy events in the home.
• Veterinary, grooming, or kennel visits.
• Changes in the household, including the addition or removal of pets or people.
• Too much competition for resources.
• Inadequate territory

SIGNS OF CAT STRESS

  • Avoiding the litter box
Like if your cat is using the bathroom outside of his/her litter box, this may be the biggest sign that your cat is like too stressed, frightened, or even can have like a medical condition where they avoid the pan, or Litter-Robot.

  • Insomnia
Like, fo sho this one is mad real bro. Us cats nap skills are 2nd to none bruh. We are the kings and queens in the sleep department. So, like if your cat is not sleeping, he or she is most likely experiencing like not good vibes. Cats usually sleep for around 9.5 hours and rest for another 5 hours in a day. Cats that are stressed tend to spend a lot of time awake. It’s like never getting the rad barrels, and only receiving Chops bruh.

  • Hiding
Some blokes and sheilas will show stress in ways that might be more noticeable, like hiding. Yo, if your feline is hiding under the bed and you seldom see em come out to say hi, this is another sign that they are feeling the negative vibes. We do enjoy like some moments to ourselves, but not usually for extended periods of time.

  • Lack of appetite
Now, this is something that does not exist in this house. Like we eat bruh, like another great reason to be indoors instead of the great outdoors bruh, unlimited food. But if you notice your cat or cats not eating that delicious food then, fo sho we have a problem and this definitely not akaw (that means like cool for all my normies out there, ain’t no shame in it dudes and dudettes.)

  • Lack of purring and awkward posture
Now like this is on point for Missy. This sheila, she claims it just cause she only likes mom and Maggie. Everyone else is like an annoyance. Whoa, chill sis – like life is about happiness and good vibes. Those negative vibes are bad for your aura. Check your cats yo. If their ears are pinned back, or them pupils be dilated, also tails are a dead giveaway. If they fluffed or tucked or twitching, then they are mad or stressed. To be like honest bro, pretty sure it’s one and the same you have bad vibes then it just totally brings ya down. Happy cats will have their tail raised straight up and will want to rub up against you and purr excitedly. Which to be honest again bruh Missy does this with mom and Maggie. It’s the only time this shelia looks happy.

  • Aggressive behavior
Now I have like seen a lot of this back when I lived in the great outdoors before mom and dad rescued me. I don’t believe in aggressive behavior, too much life force for that vibe bro. Some cats will show like some of this sometimes so not always a sign your cat is super stress bruh. We have bad and good days, as the saying goes, we are only cats. Nobody is perfect, but like, if your companion, is always showing them a negative vibe, pretty sure there is something wrong in their life that needs attention.

  • Under grooming or over-grooming
Like bruh we like to be clean, so with that knowledge, we cats groom ourselves for about like 4 hours every day. Now I spend more time than that because I like to groom my brothers and sisters as well. If your cat is stressed, they may not make an attempt to groom and may appear grimy, and that is like not akaw and a total bummer. While other cats may begin grooming like overcompensating, which starts like creating bald spots on their bodies yo. Right totally not radical.

  • Being more vocal or less vocal
Now like this one comes with some stipulations. Myself, I have always liked to sing, talk, and play, and our shelia Aria is always talking. This doesn’t like count for that. We are talking like out of the norm talking. Like our bloke Taco. He is extremely quiet so if he like starts talking like me or Aria, then something is mostly wrong. This can also take affect the other way, like if Aria stopped talking then fo sho something is not right and, as a cat, I know it’s a forbidden word but they might need to go to the vet. So watch how we communicate.

  • Bathroom issues
Now I know you are like whaat…but fo sho if we cats get overly stressed we could experience one of these two… Diarrhea or constipation. Of course, if we eat a lot of human food then could happen as well. But bruh if all you feed is the same cat food and you like see this problem, then know we are stressed about something like for real real.
